We are all familiar with “Instant Savings” coupons, right? They are attached to the item you are presently buying. You simply remove it, and hand it to the cashier, or scan it at the self-checkout, and voila, INSTANT savings!
I bought this bottle of liquor the other day, and this coupon is attached to the bottle by the little string.

I get the bottle home, AND THE COUPON IS STILL ON THE BOTTLE!
No savings, no voila!
I’ll accept my share of the responsibility, but I am a busy guy. This is their job. Should they not have seen the coupon and acted on it?
The coupon won’t go to waste. I’ve been meaning to try that Glenlivet 12.
