I like to think I’m a reasonable person. I know this can be subjective and y’all might not agree.
After my Uber ride from the Miami Cruise Terminal to the airport, Uber was good enough to send me the detailed invoice of my ride:
I rarely scan these but had nothing better to do at that moment.
What could annoy me here, you wonder?
Sure, there is a Booking Fee AND a Reservation Fee; can you have one without the other?
I am certain he must have used EZ Pass to pay the Dolphin Expressway and Port of Miami tolls. He certainly did not go through any toll booth.
But alas, it’s the $.11 WAITING TIME charge that floors me. I had to jump off the curb to flag him down. The only waiting he did was when the crossing guard asked him to wait for a pedestrian to cross in front of him.
I know it’s only eleven cents and getting to Customer Service for Uber is an oxymoron, but it’s the principle.
