Wawa, the legendary Philadelphia-based convenience store, opened (April 2025) its newest store in Pooler, Georgia, a mere thirty-three miles from Hilton Head.
Still too far for a breakfast Sizzli and coffee, but only fifteen minutes from the Savannah Airport. Airpoirty Pickups might be slightly delayed while I make a brief diversion for soft pretzels and hoagies.
We continue to hear there may be one destined for the Bluffton/Okatie area, which would be even closer.
We already have a Rita’s Water Ice, and the grocery stores have TastyCakes and Unique Pretzels. Just get me a DiNici’s Roast Pork and some Habbersett’s scrapple, and I’ll be in heaven.
